He was a monkey with a magic staff, a flying cloud - and absolutely no interest in following the rules.
From a magical stone egg atop Hua Guo Mountain came a monkey with big dreams, bigger powers, and the biggest attitude of all. Armed with a shape-shifting staff, a cloud he can ride like lightning, and unshakable confidence, Wukong isn’t just any monkey - he’s the Monkey King.
When word of his wild abilities reaches the heavens, the gods try to keep him close to contain the chaos. But Wukong didn’t rise from stone to follow anyone’s rules. And when he decides to make some noise, even the skies might not be ready for the storm he brings.
Can one monkey’s mischief really cause an uproar in heaven?
